About this file
These are specifications for the Bradfield Campground Improvements 2025 project by the Bureau of Land Management's Tres Rios Field Office in Colorado. The project involves demolishing an existing kiosk and wire fencing, and constructing new campground infrastructure including a picnic shelter, kiosk, concrete foundations, and site improvements. Specific requirements include:
The project requires a pre-engineered 18'x18' Mesa picnic shelter with a hip roof, to be installed on a concrete foundation, and a "West Slope Double Roof Kit" kiosk with two 48"x48" bulletin board panels featuring routed text, BLM logo, and a digital graphic. Site work involves clearing vegetation, regrading areas around the shelters to ensure less than 2% slope, placing aggregate base course, relocating existing picnic tables, and strategically placing boulders to delineate parking and prevent off-road travel. The contractor must complete all work within 150 days of the Notice to Proceed, working Monday through Friday, with the campground remaining open to the public during construction.
