SPECIFICATIONS
Mokai Jet Kayak
1.0 Background
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) mining operations are conducted pursuant to the Mining Law of 1872. 43 CFR 3809.600 provides for inspection of all mining operations authorized by the mining laws. The purpose of the 43 CFR 3809 regulations is to prevent unnecessary or undue degradation to public lands by operations authorized under the mining laws.
Within the Eastern Interior Field Office, we have many mining operations along the Fortymile Wild and Scenic River (WSR). These operations are not road accessible. Access is by air or water only.
2.0 Objective
Procure three (3) Mokai ES-Kape 2.0 Mechanical control jet kayaks.
3.0 Requirements
The jet kayak must come from the manufacturer with bow and stern tow hooks to the BLM Eastern Interior Field Office point of contact (POC) as well as handle the shipping to BLM 222 University Ave., Fairbanks, Alaska 99709.
Manufacturer warranty must be transferrable to BLM
4.0 Deliverables
Deliverables include three (3) jet kayaks:
Model: Mokai ES-Kape 2.0-Mechanical controls jet kayak Manufacturer additional option: one bow tow hook per jet kayak
Manufacturer additional option: one stern tow hook per jet kayak
Manufacturer additional option: one Bow Hatch per jet kayak
Manufacturer additional option: one T handle paddle per jet kayak Required delivery date is September 30, 2025.
