About this file
This document is a technical specification for an eDNA backpack sampler required by the US Fish & Wildlife Service. The key requirements include: automating water sampling for eDNA, allowing adjustable sample volumes and flow rates, compatibility with self-preserving filters, remote control, lithium battery power with 6-8 hour life, flow rates between 0.1-1.4 L/min, GPS for geotags, and volume measurement accuracy of at least 90% at the minimum flow rate. Delivery is required by September 30, 2024 to a location in Alabama. This specification is related to a federal solicitation from the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for the procurement of eDNA backpack samplers, identified by Solicitation Number 140F1B24Q0021.
