RANGELAND DRILL SEEDING
WORK DATA SHEET
Attachment A
Project Name: Camp Creek Drill Seeding
Approximate Acreage: Refer to maps for locations: Large area with a total drill seeding area of 4,062 acres. Portions may be too steep or may be rock outcrops that would not be drill seeded.
Approximate Start Date: October 1, 2022
Location of Work Site as Shown on Work Location Maps: Project is in Churchill County, Nevada.
Type of Seeding Equipment to be Supplied by the Government: 6 rangeland drills. To be used as three-drill set-up. Total workload to be split among each set.
Location of Seeding Equipment to be Supplied by the Government: Rangeland drills will be delivered to the work sites by the Government.
Location of Seed: Seed will be delivered to the project site by the Government. The seed will be stored in a Government furnished seed trailer. The trailer will be delivered to a location designated by a spot on the work location map.
Type of Seed: Seed will be pre-mixed by the Government. Seed mixes consists of grass and shrub seed.
Rate of Application: 8.46 lbs per acre on the 27-13 site (348 acres). 8.12 lbs/ac on the 27-8 site (3,714 acres). Refer to seed species documents.
Average Depth of Seed: ¼ to ½ inch
Other Requirements: Due to the terrain, experienced drill seeding tractor operators may be needed. The Contractor shall be required to drill close to the big rock outcrops and through the small rock outcrops. All slopes over 8% grade shall be seeded on the contour. The Project Inspector will help determine acres drillable. Upon completion of the project, the Contractor shall leave the drills at a location on the work site as directed by the Project Inspector. Contractor will be responsible for all fence repairs when moving between sites when Contractor has to remove or take down the fences.
