About this file

The Statement of Work describes analytical and laboratory services for the Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) at Joint Base Charleston, SC Weapons Station. The document outlines requirements for PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) analysis and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) Metals testing, with a detailed testing matrix specifying maximum estimated quantities and 10-day turnaround times for most services.

Key requirements include laboratory accreditation through the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), adherence to specific quality standards, and prohibited practices for data handling. The testing matrix covers various sample types including routine and special swipes, bilge oil, water, and solid matrices, with estimated quantities ranging from 5 to 216 samples across different analysis categories. The document was originally created on 23 October 2015 and updated on 2 May 2025, indicating ongoing requirements for environmental testing services supporting the naval training facility.
