1.0 Introduction and Overview
Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) requires regular and routine monitoring of the Geothermal Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System at the Refuge VC. Vendor will provide regular monitoring of the Geothermal HVAC System Controls at Assabet River NWR Visitor center.
First year pricing includes the installation of proprietary monitoring hardware and setup.
Following 2 years in attached quote are lower cost due to no set up cost. We would like for this contract to be set up for the One base year plus 4 additional option years. This is a sole source contract. CTI, the only vendor in the New England Area that troubleshoots and conducts in person services on these monitoring systems.
The work is located at 680 Hudson Road, Sudbury MA. For a site visit to tour the areas of work, contact Chad Roderick, Refuge Representative at telephone 978-580-0183.
1.1 Scope of Work
Vendor will utilize a "Four Seasons Diagnostics" to maintain the controls of the HVAC system as part of a larger preventive maintenance service contract. Every quarter, a service tech will come on-site, to go through the report and verify the working conditions, deficiencies, etc. As the tech will have the report on-hand when he comes on-site, he will know exactly where the issues are.
This means he won’t be looking around hoping to find something. He will also be able to prioritize the key items, the ones that would be more detrimental to your system. This will give you peace of mind that when on-site my tech won’t be looking at the nuisance level issues, or constant alarm triggers, but starting with the biggest issue and/or the most critical piece of equipment.
