STATEMENT OF WORK
Acquisition of Aggregate
Multi‐year and Multi‐vendor Aggregate IDIQ
1. General:
Describes the project in general terms for:
Sherburne and Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge’s (USFWS), Delivery or Pickup of:
Washed Products:
• CA‐2 (11/2" Washed Rock)
• CA‐70 (3/8" Washed Rock)
• Sewer Sand
Gravel Products:
• Class 5 Aggregate
• Pit Run Gravel/ Fill
• Natural Fines (Fill Sand/ Select)
• Clean Sand (Washed Fill Sand)
Granite Product:
• Class 2 Aggregate
Miscellaneous:
• Rip Rap Class I
• Rip Rap Class II
• Rip Rap Class Ill
• Rip Rap Class IV
• Rip Rap Class V & Boulders
• Black Dirt/ Topsoil
• Crushed Concrete (Recycle) to various areas located within a 50 mile radius of 19099 313th Ave NW, Princeton, MN 55371 for Sherburne and Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge’s.
1.1 Purpose/End Application: Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision for the delivery of aggregate products.
1.1.1 USFWS will be able to pick up and haul aggregate products from approved vendors as needed.
1.2 Contractor Qualifications: Contractors must be able to obtain and haul aggregate.
1.3 Other: Include, a relevant statutory authority, regulations, and/or references, pertinent background materials, or other relevant info. For extended information, reference an attachment or digital reference is recommended.
1.4 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information.
1.5 Non‐duty hours include weeknights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King JR. s’ Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
2. Scope
2.1 Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision for the delivery of aggregate. Award will be based on the lowest price at the time of quote. Quoted costs, not fixed price amount and subject to change without notice. Aggregate orders shall be placed at an approved price and quantity for the period of August 1, 2024, through September 30, 2029.
3. Deliverables and/or Delivery Schedule
3.1 Employees of USFWS will call to order the aggregate to be delivered or picked up when needed.
3.2 Employees of USFWS will clearly state the deliverables required, the schedule for delivery, the quantities, and schedule (for multiple items).
3.2 Aggregate may be either tailgate spread or stockpiled. Delivery method and maps of the location of delivery will be provided to contractor before materials are delivered.
4. Quality Control/Quality Assurance:
4.1 For commercial supplies reference clauses for inspection and acceptance. Where appropriate, QC will be maintained according to industry standards and made available to the agency with the contractor’s proposal.
4.2 Identify and detail measures for assessing quality control and acceptance; each requirement is unique, and a table format is visually friendly and may be desirable.
5. Technical Coordinator:
5.1 Identify the primary individual responsible for the final product or service. This individual is ordinarily the author of this document, the Program Manager, or other. Include the Name, title, address, phone number and email for each individual.
