Statement of Need: Applanix POS MV WaveMaster II Upgrade – Brand Name or Equal

System Requirements and Salient Characteristics:

· This equipment requires the following measurements and specifications:

· Light weight (< 3 kg) submersible inertial measurement unit (IMU)

· Capable of positional accuracy of +/- 10 mm horizontal (plus 1 ppm) and +/- 20 mm vertical accuracy (plus 1 ppm)

· Capable of 5 cm or 2% of amplitude heave measurement accuracy

· Capable of 0.015 degree pitch and roll accuracy (PosPAC post-processed)

· Capable of 0.03 degree heading accuracy with a 2 meter baseline

· Capable of maintaining 2 meter position accuracy during a 60 second GNSS outage using RTK methods

· Roll and pitch accuracy during GNSS outage of 0.04 degrees

· Rack mount POS Computer System

· RS-232 input/output ports for auxiliary data I/O

· Real-time UDP broadcast output (up to 200 hz)

· Capable of Ethernet output of time tag, status, position, attitude, heave, velocity, track and speed, raw IMU data, and raw GNSS data

· Configurable NMEA and Attitude RS-232 output up to 200 Hz

· Capable of receiving 1 Hz RTCM V2.x, RTCM V3.x, CMR and CMR+, CMRx auxiliary inputs for precise navigation solutions.

· Output a 1 PPS signal for time sync to other units (TTL, rising or falling edge)

· Capable of logging raw data to auxiliary devices for PPK processing with supplied software

· IMU and GNSS cables up to 30 meters in length

· 1 day training at customer designated site
