Statement of Work

Introduction The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Red Rock/Sloan Field Office is seeking service for liquid and solid waste removal from vault toilets and septic tanks located within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (RRCNCA).

Location

RRCNCA is located 17 miles west of Las Vegas, Nevada, on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. All Latitude and Longitude coordinates listed below are approximate.

Project Scope Work includes:

(1) Removal of all waste, including cans, bottles, rocks, and wood products from 28 vault toilet units (13 single and 15 double) and four sewage septic holding tanks located at four separate sites within RRCNCA. Not all locations will be required to be serviced on each BPA Call.

(2) Transportation and disposal of all waste materials to an approved facility in compliance with all State and County Sanitation Regulations. Delivery receipt for actual gallons pumped from vaults and taken to landfill dump station is required.

(3) Securing any necessary permits with Local, State, or Federal authorities in the performance of this contract.

(4) Providing all equipment (labor, supervision, and transportation necessary to meet the requirements of the contract). Equipment should include an auger with the capability to remove rocks, bottles, lumber, trash etc…

(5) Cleaning any spills created from pumping upon completion of the service. All trash located inside the vault toilets or septic tanks must be removed completely.

(6) Pumping of the septic tanks and vault toilets will be conducted on an as-needed basis. Pumping schedule and number of vaults to be pumped shall be determined by the Bureau of Land Management COR assigned to the contract. Pumping must be completed within 24 hours of receiving a non-emergency service notice and within three hours of an emergency service notice. Below are the locations and types of vault toilets and septic systems that will need to be serviced:

· Calico II (Lat 36.151614°, Long -115.437317°) – single vault toilet with an 800-gallon capacity

· Sandstone Quarry (Lat 36.162319°, Long -115.450459°) – double vault toilet with 1000 gallons of capacity per vault

· White Rock (Lat 36.173215°, Long -115.477597°) – single vault toilet with an 800-gallon capacity

· Willow Springs East (Lat 36.160272°, Long -115.497941°) – single vault toilet with an 800-gallon capacity,
