About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a concrete curb replacement project for the Little White Salmon National Fish Hatchery in Cook, Washington. The scope involves removing approximately 160 linear feet of existing concrete curbing and installing new WSDOT-standard 6-inch cure-in-place concrete curbs in the upper hatchery area. The project aims to address safety concerns, as the current curbs are improperly installed and only rest on the surface, risking vehicle rollover on the embankment.

The project requires contractors with concrete curbing installation experience and mandates a 1-year warranty against cracking. The work must be completed by October 1st, 2025, with normal duty hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A site visit is scheduled for August 19th, 2025, at the main hatchery office. The final product will be inspected and approved by the Hatchery Manager, with key technical coordination provided by Jorge Alcala (Complex Facility Operations Specialist) and Jason Meir (Assistant Hatchery Manager).
