STATEMENT OF WORK
D.C. Booth Janitorial Services
1. General:
1.1 D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hachery (HNFH), 423 Hatchery Circle, Spearfish, SD 57783, janitorial services/cleaning services for 1-year.
1.2 Purpose/End Application: To clean and sanitize the public restrooms daily, Monday through Friday, during the tourist season (May 1st - August 31st.), the Booth House/Shop restroom as scheduled by Government staff during the tourist season (May 1st - August 31st.) and the hatchery office/admin building weekly throughout the full contracy period of performance of September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026.
1.3 Site Visit: A site visit of the project location is strongly encouraged prior to submitting a quote. A site visit of the project location is available on August 5th or August 12th from 9AM - 3PM Mountain Time. Interested contractors may contact April Gregory, D.C Booth Curator, to schedule a site visit (april_gregory@fws.gov, (605) 642-7730 x 215). For evaluation purposes, preference will be given to offerors who demonstrate a strong understanding of the statement of work, to include the attendance of a site visit.
2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance:
2.1 D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery Admin Building from September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026. The Booth House/Shop restroom and The Booth House/Shop restroom and public restrooms shall be cleaned during the tourism season from May 1, 2026- August 31, 2026.
2.2 D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery, Spearfish, SD 57783-2643
2.3 All cleaning shall occur during normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information.
2.4 Non-duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther
King JR.s’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). The public restrooms are open 7 days a week throughout the period of performance.
3. Scope
• To clean and sanitize both the mens and womens public restrooms on the hatchery grounds M-F, the Booth House/Shop restroom once a week and both bathrooms and the office and conference room spaces in the hatchery admin building weekly.
• All toilets, sinks, mirrors, and interior surfaces shall be cleaned and sanitized to meet CDC guidelines.
• Disinfectants, wipes, and any other items for cleaning shall be supplied by awardee. Bathroom supplies such as hand soap, trash bags, femine bags and toilet paper will be provided by hatchery.
• Trash from bathrooms shall be discarded in Hatchery dumpster located NE of Hatchery gift shop.
• Identifying and reporting non functional toilets to hatchery staff.
• Cleaned and disinfected M-F, particularly high-touch surfaces such as faucets, toilets, doorknobs, and light switches.
• Clean, and disinfect restrooms daily or more often if possible using EPA-registered disinfectantsexternal icon that are effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes
COVID-19.
• Bathrooms shall be regularly stocked with supplies for handwashing.
4. Identify any Government-Furnished Equipment (GPE):
4.1 Hand soap, trash bags, femine bags, and toilet paper
5. Quality Control/Quality Assurance:
5.1 Carlos Martinez (Project Leader) will oversee the quality control of the service.
