Statement of Work
1. General
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the removal and replacement of an existing unit heater at the project location in Anchorage, Alaska.
The purpose of this project is to remove the existing heating unit and install a new power vent/blower unit heater to ensure continued safe and reliable heating performance at the facility. The work will include removal and disposal of the existing unit, installation of a new heater, reconnection to existing utilities, and required structural support and stabilization.
The contractor shall possess the necessary qualifications, licensing, and experience in mechanical/HVAC installation and equipment replacement. The contractor shall ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer installation requirements.
All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordination with facility personnel may be required to ensure safe access and minimal disruption to building operations.

Work shall be scheduled in coordination with the facility representative. The contractor shall account for seasonal weather conditions, site accessibility, and any operational constraints that could affect installation activities.
3. Scope
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision necessary to complete the following work:
1. Remove and properly dispose of one (1) existing unit heater currently installed at the facility.
2. Furnish and install one (1) Modine HDB-100AS power vent/blower unit heater or equivalent approved unit. See Specifications document for listing of meet or exceed specifications.
3. Provide and install all required hangers and sway/earthquake stabilization supports to safely secure the new heater as required by the IBC.
4. Reconnect the new unit heater to the existing exhaust vent, ductwork, electrical connections, and gas piping as required for proper operation.
5. Obtain all required permits to complete all tasks in this SOW.
The contractor shall ensure the system is fully operational upon completion and shall verify that all connections are secure and function properly.
