About this file

This statement of work describes the Bureau of Land Management's need to purchase six radio repeater service monitor test equipment units. Key details include:

  • The BLM requires the test equipment to conduct maintenance and operational checks on mobile radios and repeaters across the state, as current equipment is outdated.

  • Each unit must include a 10-inch touch screen, spectrum analyzer from 9kHz to 3GHz, frequency generator, oscilloscope function, RF testing ports and cables, antenna kit up to 1GHz, automotive and battery power adapters, attenuators, and capacity to test Motorola APX and BK Technologies KNG radios along with P25 conventional and trunked systems. Battery life must exceed two hours for remote use.

  • Delivery of all equipment and accessories is required by December 20th, 2022 to a location in Reno, Nevada. A one-year warranty on all equipment is also specified.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Nevada Region for the radio repeater monitor test equipment described in the statement of work.
