About this file
This is a Statement of Work and Specifications document from the Bureau of Land Management Albuquerque District Office, Rio Puerco Field Office, for the procurement of wildlife guzzlers to be delivered to 1800 12th Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.
The requirement consists of three types of wildlife guzzlers: 8 units of 650-gallon capacity dome-top rain catchment guzzlers, 2 units of 300-gallon capacity dome-top rain catchment guzzlers, and 2 units of 110-gallon Drinker units with float valve systems. All units feature escape ramps, built-in designs for above-ground or in-ground installation, and are constructed from durable Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) with UV and freeze inhibitors in Sand Granite color. The 650-gallon units measure 118" x 64" x 22" (deck height), weigh 290 lbs, include a 53 sq ft dome roof surface area optimized for rain collection (33 gallons per 1" rain), bolt-down lids with four 3/8" bolts, internal column support, inspection hatch, 2" bulkhead fill fitting, and 1" winter water level drain plug. The 300-gallon units measure 79" x 50" x 28" (deck height), weigh 160 lbs, feature 26 sq ft lid collection area with 74% lid coverage, 7" inspection hatch, and 2" fill port. The 110-gallon Drinker units measure 54" x 30" x 20", weigh 85 lbs, include float-valve assembly rated to 60 psi, and are designed to attach to existing water sources compatible with gravity or pressure systems. All units feature 28-degree escape ramps, heavy-duty sidewall ribs for structural integrity, and 10" access hatches for maintenance.
