About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Midwest Region 3 for fish distribution truck repair services at three National Fish Hatcheries: Pendills Creek, Jordan River, and Iron River. The BPA has a not-to-exceed value of $250,000 over a five-year period and covers maintenance and repair services for eight distribution trucks including Freightliner, International Navistar, and Daimler models ranging from 2008-2024.
The vendor must have diesel mechanics certification and use manufacturer-recommended parts. Services include diagnostic evaluation, repairs, and testing, with price quotes required prior to work exceeding the $2,500 micro-purchase threshold. Payment will be made via government purchase card for orders under $2,500, while larger orders require contracting officer approval and payment through the Internet Payment Platform. Key requirements include proper waste disposal compliance, following facility regulations, and maintaining professional conduct. Vendor selection will be based on best value, considering past experience, diesel mechanics certification, and hourly shop rates. The government will handle towing vehicles to vendor locations when needed.
