GENERAL: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Quilcene National Fish Hatchery located in Quilcene Washington is seeking to purchase a pre-engineered building kit as a replacement building for adult salmon handling activities. The current structure is a permanent tent that has been damaged by strong winds and will be removed by hatchery staff before work begins. On that same side will be a single pedestrian door frame out. The lean-to will be 4’ wide by 40’ long and will provide protection from the elements for the public while viewing. There will be a double-pedestrian door frame-out on the opposite side.
There will be a gable-end roof extension of 16’ on the south side of the building. The building is to be as close as possible in color to the existing main hatchery building with a red roof, brown trim, and stone/tan wall color.
