About this file
This document is a Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO) under FAR Subpart 16.5. The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Office of the Chief Information Office (OCIO) has a new requirement for 65 Pluralsight Business Professional licenses for a 12-month period from September 18, 2024 to September 17, 2025 at an estimated value of $31,692.70. The OCIO has been using Pluralsight licenses and seeks to continue this as a brand-name procurement under FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). The purchase will be competed among small businesses on the NASA SEWP contract vehicle to ensure fair and reasonable pricing. This is a new requirement, not a follow-on to a previous order. The Government will continue to monitor the market for alternative products that meet their needs.
