About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the calibration and preventative maintenance of power supplies and motor test systems for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). The contractor shall provide NIST-traceable calibration, inspection, and minor maintenance of the specified equipment. The contractor is not authorized to perform major repairs, which will be handled under a separate contract. Key deliverables include NIST-traceable calibration certificates and service reports. The PWS outlines the contractor's responsibilities regarding physical security, identification of personnel, and attendance at post-award conferences. It also lists the applicable federal regulations and standards the contractor must follow.
The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice for the intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price service contract to General Cable Industries for the calibration and preventative maintenance of the power supplies and motor test systems. The period of performance is expected to be from 6/1/2024 to 5/31/2025, with four option years. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 4/3/2024.
