About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) to procure the SKC Chek-Mate Flowmeter part number 375-0550NK. The Chek-Mate Flowmeter uses a differential pressure flowmeter to calibrate air flow sample pumps at flow ranges between 0.50-5.0 L/min, 20-500 ml/min, and 5.0-30.0 L/min. The RFI seeks industry comments and capability statements from potential sources to satisfy this requirement. The response deadline is July 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM ET. The Chek-Mate Flowmeter is required for MSHA's periodic atmospheric sampling to confirm effective mine operator controls and assess approved plan parameters. Respondents should provide details on their company, technical capabilities to meet the performance requirements, and past government experience with similar tasks.
