STATEMENT OF WORK
Inertial Navigation System
PR # 0011951392
GENERAL: Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) is requesting the procurement of seven (7) inertial navigation systems that use MEMS inertial sensors, such as accelerometers and rate sensors, in addition to Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers and one (1) GNNS base station to measure the performance of vehicle systems in highly dynamic environments. Each system outputs linear velocity, linear acceleration, angular rates, and position in an integrated package.
Each system shall be supplied with all cables, antennas, and configuration software.
Technical Specifications for the Inertial Navigation System
1. Inertial sensors: linear acceleration and angular rate, in three (3) axes.
a. Bias Stability of 0.08 mg for accelerations and 5 Deg./hr. for angular rates.
b. Scale factor accuracy of 0.08% for accelerations and 0.3% for angular rates.
c. Measurement range of at least +/-480 deg./s for angular rates
d. Measurement range of at least +/-8 g acceleration for all three (3) axes
e. Roll and pitch angle measurement accuracy of 0.05 deg. or less.
2. GNSS Position measurement using:
a. GPS L1, L2C
b. GLONASS L1, L2
c. BeiDou B1, B2
d. Galileo E1, E5
3. GNSS Position Accuracy
a. 2-m (6.6 ft.) nominal accuracy
b. Capable of 2-cm (0.8-in) accuracy with Real-time Kinematic (RTK) differential
GNSS
c. Utilizes two GNSS antennas for heading accuracy of 0.1 degrees.
4. Maximum data update rate of 250 Hz.
5. Internal data storage capacity of up to 32GB.
6. Powered by DC voltage with input range of 5 volts to 32 volts DC.
7. Operating temperature -40 to 70 deg. C (-40 to 158 deg. F)
8. Interface support
a. Serial RS232 Input/output
b. Digital I/O
i. Odometer input
ii. Event trigger input
iii. Pulse Per Second output
iv. Camera trigger output
Technical Specifications for the GNSS base Station
1. Enclosure Specification.
a. Minimum of IP65 rated protection.
b. Internal rechargeable battery pack
c. Size no greater than 19 inches by 17 inches by 6 inches
d. Integrated RF connectors for GNSS antenna
2. GPS Position measurement using:
a. GPS L1, L2C
b. GLONASS L1, L2
3. GNSS Position Accuracy
a. Capable of 1-cm (0.4-in) accuracy with (Real-time Kinematic) RTK differential
GNSS
4. Real-time Kinematic (RTK) Data output: RS232 data output of selectable data formats:
RTCA, RTCA2, RTCM, RTCMv3, CMR, CMR+
5. RTK Data logging. Records GPS data internally for post processing applications.
6. Powered by DC voltage of 12 volts DC.
