About this file

This document is a Micro-Purchase Threshold (MFR) Limiting Competition under Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) form for the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Rock Island Arsenal. The procurement is for 41 MST Manufacturing P/N 9925103-01 Missile Container Latches, with MST Manufacturing identified as the sole approved vendor for the CNU 617 Missile Container Latches. The justification for sole source procurement includes critical requirements such as current government equipment compatibility, potential catastrophic failure risks, and field testing certification for lifting and training naval ordinance, which prevent changing part numbers or vendors. The procurement is a new requirement using a fixed-price purchase order, with the action categorized as a brand name restriction over $30K that will be redacted and posted with the solicitation.
