IAW AR 420-1, Army Facilities Management, utilize this crane truck to transport salt and gravel for road maintenance, in addition to moving major components, such as chillers and transformers. For these purposes, Iveco offers the most flexible commercial vehicle in its market segment. Its tough chassis is one of the most adaptable, enabling the mounting of both a hooklift and a hydraulic crane, two accessories vital for meeting the government’s minimum requirements. Tronix automated transmission with electronic clutch. This transmission has best-in-class torque-to weight ratio and gear spread. Additionally, it offers maneuvering mode for low-speed operations and rocking function to recover grip on low-adherence surfaces. Finally, Iveco is exceptional in its service department. It offers availability of replacement parts up to ten years after vehicle phase-out. It has a broad network of service centers throughout Europe, with two service centers within 30 minutes of Vicenza, which will minimize downtime.
Fassi manufactures cranes with superior performance compared to other European brands, such as Ferrari. Its shorter secondary arm allows a greater working height and the ability to lift especially bulky and heavy loads vertically near the column of the crane.
Its exclusive ProLink system increases the working angle of the jib by ten degrees above the horizontal line, a feature not offered by its competitors. Additionally, the Automatic Dynamic Control system maximizes the speed of movement depending upon the handled load, minimizing the structural stress and contributing to the crane’s long service life. Finally, the multifunction distributor bank delivers oil proportionally, maximizing precision of movement. Therefore, the Fassi crane is the only model reasonably available that meets the government’s minimum requirements.
