About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for lumber procurement for the Pine Bluff Arsenal. The scope details specific lumber requirements in two primary categories: Hardwood Lumber and Dimensional Softwood Lumber, with precise specifications for lumber dimensions, including untreated hardwood lumber in various widths and lengths (1x4, 1x6, 1x8) and softwood construction grade lumber in standard dimensions. Additionally, the document includes requirements for power poles in 35', 40', and 45' Class 3 configurations.

The document outlines two critical contractor requirements: (1) all materials will be inspected through the Government's Quality Assurance Department, with any non-compliant parts to be replaced/repaired at the contractor's expense, including shipping costs, and (2) the contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) and Certified Test Report demonstrating compliance with all technical data requirements. The BPA is part of a 100% small business set-aside procurement for the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Rock Island Arsenal, with an anticipated solicitation issue date of 7 August 2025.
