About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details calibration services for test equipment at the Central California Area Office (CCAO) facilities located at Folsom Dam and New Melones Power Plant. The Bureau of Reclamation requires an annual calibration of precision test equipment, with calibrations needing to be traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and performed in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. The contractor will be responsible for providing certified calibration services, delivering validated calibration certificates for each tested equipment item, and ensuring compliance with security procedures.

Key requirements include providing calibration certificates with "as found" and "as left" settings, maintaining less than 5% deviation from performance standards 95% of the time, and meeting strict delivery schedule expectations. The contractor must possess appropriate business licenses, insurance, and certifications, and will be responsible for all employee training and travel costs. Security provisions require the contractor to supply employee names for potential security checks, and all information will be designated as Public Information (Non-Official-Use-Only), with some government-furnished work products marked as Official Use Only - SENSITIVE.
