Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan Toilet/Septic Pumping and Related Services Chief Joseph Dam, Bridgeport, WA 98813-1120

Performance Requirements Summary: The Government will only pay for services rendered. The Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) determines if the Contractor meets the performance standards of the contract, as well as provides guidelines for how and when the Government will perform surveillance. It ensures timeliness, effectiveness, and that the Contractor is delivering the results specified in the contract. The Government will perform contract quality assurance at such times and/or places as may be necessary to determine the services conform to contract requirements.

Performance Requirements: Table 1 lists the criteria against which the Contractor’s performance will be evaluated. Work shall be considered not to have been performed when any one of the conditions as shown below exists in accordance to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). The Government shall evaluate the Contractor periodically during performance of this contract to ensure compliance with the proposed and accepted performance goals, regulations and guidance. The Government shall perform this evaluation according to the QASP. Failure to adequately complete any service or submittal to at least a satisfactory level of quality or timeliness may result in repeat of work, a poor performance evaluation, or both.

Acceptable Quality Level (AQL): Predetermined value used by the Government to distinguish between satisfactory and unsatisfactory performance. AQL may be stated in percent and is the maximum number of defects per 100 units that can be considered satisfactory. As long as the defective performance does not exceed the AQL, the total service will not be rejected by the Government.
