PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
1.0. INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW.
Department of Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) is dedicated to delivering essential PET/CT exams to meet the healthcare needs of our patients. To ensure uninterrupted service, we are requesting approval for PET/CT mobile coach that will serve as a temporary solution for accommodating Nuclear Medicine PET/CT exams. Simultaneously, we are actively working towards receiving approval for the installation of a permanent PET/CT scanner within our nuclear medicine clinic. Our goal is to provide efficient and high-quality imaging services to support the well-being of our patients.
2.0. BACKGROUND.
To better serve the beneficiaries of Womack Army Medical Center, the Nuclear Medicine department has decided to utilize a mobile PET/CT scanner. Previously, PET/CT exams were sent to the network for imaging services. However, as a temporary solution while seeking a permanent one, the department has opted to employ a mobile unit. This will allow for on-site PET/CT exams, eliminating the need for external referrals. The goal is to install a permanent PET/CT unit within the nuclear medicine clinic, ensuring efficient and convenient access to this vital imaging technology for the center's patients.
3.0. SCOPE.
Contractor shall provide a fully functional Mobile PET/CT which has an active Authorization to Operate (ATO), Full PET/CT Software package must include Fusion and all other reconstruction processing, measurement / evaluation capabilities, i.e., SYNGO or AIDAN, with DICOM transfer to IMPAX feature.
