7. Market Research:

USARRL conducted Market research in May through June 2021 into the available options for multiband handheld radio’s. USARRL located numerous vendors selling MultiBand Handheld Radio’s. However, only the L3 Harris Falcon III AN/PRC-152A MultiBand Handheld Radio was found to be capable of meeting all of the Government’s Minimum Essential Requirements. Research conducted online found no other handheld radio capable of meeting all of the AN/PRC-152A capabilities for USAARL’s operational specification requirements (as expressed in the Minimum Essential Requirements).

Moreover, market research determined that L3 Harris has authorized small business resellers: US21 Inc., and B&H International LLC.

Therefore, this procurement will be limited to small businesses who can provide the required L3 Harris Falcon III AN/PRC-152A MultiBand Handheld Radio
