About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of a commercial-grade MIG welding system for the Minnesota Army National Guard at Camp Ripley. The required equipment is a dual-spool, aluminum and steel capable welder with advanced features, including an inverter-based arc welding power source supporting MIG, pulsed MIG, and flux-cored welding processes. The welder must have a 350A output at 60% duty cycle, versatile voltage capabilities (230V single-phase and 208-460V three-phase), and a comprehensive dual-spool wire feeder with extensive functionality such as pre-programmed welding parameters, digital meters, remote voltage adjustment, and auto-pulse capabilities.

The procurement includes a complete welding system with a dual tank cart, accessory kit (including flowmeter regulators, cables, and hoses), and a three-year warranty with locally-based on-site service within a 60-mile radius of Camp Ripley. The contractor is responsible for delivering the welder to Camp Ripley, providing all necessary accessories for immediate operation, and conducting approximately 4 hours of basic operator training for CMA South personnel. The government is open to equivalent products from reputable manufacturers, with the burden of proof for equivalency resting with the offeror. The example reference model is the Delta-weld 350 230/460 MIG XR Alumna-Pro Plus Air Cooled.
