Attachment 1 - Solicitation 9594CS21Q0027 Amendment 0001
Questions and Answers
Question 1: Page 4-5 and Attachment J-4. Since, the group and individual counseling are only
50 minutes the C.2.8 Estimated Effort Required states that the groups are 1 hour.
Question 1a: Are the ten extra minutes accounted for in section C.2.6 which suggest, “Contractor’s telehealth system shall allow participants to log in at least 10 minutes before the start of each session”?
Answer 1a: The Contractor’s per session price shall include the pre-session 5 minutes to meet with the RSC Unit Manager, or their designee (Section C.2.6), the pre-session 10 minutes to allow participants to sign in (Section C.2.6), the time for the Contractor to enter a narrative summary into the SMART case management system (Section C.2.7), and the time to conduct group and individual therapy (C.2.4).
Question 1b: Is the contractor paid for the extra 10 minutes prior to the session starting?
Answer 1b: See Answer 1a.
Question 2: Can the contractor bill for any group, individual, or IDT sessions if any session is cancelled without prior notice?
Answer 2. Amendment 0001 adds the following:
C.2.9 Session Cancellation Fee. In the unlikely event that a group session, individual therapy session, or IDT meeting is cancelled by the COR with less than 24 hours advance notification to the Contractor, the Contractor may invoice for the cancelled session.
Question 3: Also, in section C.2.6 suggest “The Contractor staff conducting each group session shall arrive at the RSC at least five minutes prior to the scheduled session in order to meet with the RSC Unit Manager, or their designee, for a pre-intervention briefing.” Is the 5 min “pre-intervention briefing” required virtually on the Contractor’s telehealth system?
Answer 3: Yes
Question 4: C.3.2.2 CSOSA estimates a need for no more than 208 individual trauma therapy sessions per year. However, Attachment J-4: Pricing Tables states that there are only 104 individual sessions. Is that an error?
Answer 4: Amendment 0001 changes C.3.2.2 from 208 to 104.
Question 5: Attachment J-4: Pricing Tables states that there are ½ hour individual trauma therapy sessions upon request. How many ½ individual trauma therapy sessions are allotted per year?
Group Intervention Services
9594CS21Q0027 Amendment 0001 Attachment 1
