Medically Managed Intensive Inpatient Withdrawal Management Services 9594CS20Q0036 Amendment 0001
1. This Amendment 0001 is being issued to:
a. Provide Answers to the following Questions received:
Question 1: Could you please tell me if the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted as solicitation number 9594CS20Q0036 on FBO contains requirements similar to any work performed currently or in the past, or will this be a new requirement?
Answer 1: The requirements in this Solicitation are essentially identical to the requirements in current and previous CSOSA contracts.
Question 2: Under the current CSOSA contract, transportation of offenders to/from the contractor’s facility has not been required. Is this now a requirement? Are there expected security requirements?
Answer 2: Under the current and previous contracts, the Contractor was required to provide transportation for Offenders from the pick-up point identified in the referral to the Contractor’s facility. Transportation from the Contractor’s facility to the next continuum of care contractor was not required as that is the responsibility of the next continuum of care contractor. There are no security requirements for transportation of Offenders. To clarify the transportation requirement, Section 6.12 has been replaced in its entirety in Amendment 0001 as follows (changes in red):
“C.6.12 Offender Transportation. The Contractor shall arrange for the transportation of Offenders from the pickup location designated in the referral package. Transportation can be provided by the Contractor utilizing a Contractor owned vehicle, or commercial transportation. All Contractor owned vehicles used to transport CSOSA Offenders shall be in good working condition, and conform to all standards/requirements defined by the Department of Motor Vehicles in the jurisdiction in which they are registered and licensed. Transportation of Offenders at the completion of the Offender’s treatment, or in the event the Offender leaves before the completion of treatment, will not be the responsibility of the Contractor.”
Question 3: Case Management services by licensed staff. Can this be CAC 1 or CAC 2?
Answer 3: Yes, provided the case management staff meet all requirements in Section C.5.7.3.2.
b. To make the following changes to the Solicitation (all changes in red):
i. Replace 9594CS19Q0036 with 9594CS20Q0036 in the Header on pages 2 through
57.
