Question 1:

According to the solicitation about the requirements, it states that you have to be a citizen of Sao Tome?

Answer 1:

Yes.

This is a requirement from the Sao Tome Customs

Authority.

Question 2:

How many agents are needed and is this a 24-‐hour requirement?

Answer 2:

One agent is needed;

this is not a 24-‐hour requirement.

The Agent will work during office hours, unless there is an emergency that requires working outside these hours.

Question 3:

Customs Agents background requires that potential candidates have two-‐year experience?

Answer 3:

Yes.

Question 3.1:

If awarded, can we use the incumbent’s employees?

Answer 3.1:

Yes, if the incumbent agrees to it.

Question 4:

If this is not 24-‐hour operations, what are the scheduled hours of operation?

Answer 4:

As stated above, the Agent normally works during

Customs office hours.

Question 5:

What was the contract value?

Answer 5:

$2,870 month.

Question 6:

For the current contracts that I am bidding on in Sao

Tome, do I need to keep using my old business name or the new name?

Answer 6:

You can use either name as long as you register it with the Sao Tome government.
