About this file

This is an Addendum 1 document issued by the City of Madison Department of Public Works Engineering Division for RFP No. 9515 regarding Watershed Studies - Nine Springs. The addendum revises and amends the original contract documents for advanced watershed modeling and planning services for the Nine Springs Watershed in Madison, Wisconsin. The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms or teams to provide consulting services including project team qualifications, project understanding, identification of potential challenges, relevant previous project experience, level of effort, and service schedules. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract terms are specified within this addendum document.

The primary change outlined in this addendum concerns updates to Appendix A - Standard Terms and Conditions, which will be amended prior to contract execution to comply with recently enacted Wisconsin State Law (2023 Wisconsin Act 211) mandating revised indemnification clauses for engineering contracts. The selected consultant must adhere to the updated Standard Terms and Conditions once finalized, though specific language revisions are identified as pending. Bidders are encouraged to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their cover letters. Electronic versions of RFP documents are available through the City of Madison Request for Proposals webpage, DemandStar (Contract EN249515), and VendorNet (Contract EN249515).
