About this file

This document contains Questions and Answers related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Statewide Airport Operations Counting Data Collection. The RFP covers approximately 105 public airports in the state and has a contract duration of 36 months. The vendor will be required to provide airport operations counting data, with updates no less than daily. The acceptable margin of error for the data is ±5%. FDOT has not established a budget for this service and there is currently no incumbent vendor.

The RFP requires proposers to submit a detailed budget to support the lump sum pricing. The contract does not require any installation of equipment at the airports, and participation by the airports is not mandatory. Proposers must be registered in the State of Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system, and any out-of-state businesses must be authorized to operate in Florida. The RFP also includes standard legal provisions regarding the Inspector General, procurement process, and payment terms.
