About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for an annual ESRI ArcGIS Software License and Maintenance. The procurement is for a one-year term of proprietary licensed systems maintenance, specifically for Geographic Information System (GIS) software critical to departmental applications. The document was posted on 05/01/25 with a last day for receipt of information of 05/22/25, and involves an annual maintenance contract for Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Software used across FDOT's enterprise applications and district offices.

The estimated dollar amount for this single-source acquisition is $616,500.00, with justification provided that the ArcGIS software is essential for hosting GIS services statewide and for public use. The software is noted as the exclusive property of ESRI, and the department asserts that not maintaining this software would result in failure of GIS services and applications. The procurement follows section 287.057(3)(c) of Florida Statutes, which requires posting of intended single-source purchases, and the document invites prospective vendors to provide information about their ability to supply the described services.
