About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Procurement Office for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. DOT-ITB-26-9028-SJ, specifically soliciting Satellite Suites Bunk, Shower, & Restroom Trailers. The bid is scheduled to open on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with the procurement focusing on a 28' 8D Shower Trailer. The trailer specifications include specific dimensions (8' x 28'), 8 doors, 8 stations, a freshwater capacity of 200 gallons, and a wastewater capacity of 1,100 gallons.

The Q&A document clarifies two key points for potential bidders: first, that the trailers must have self-contained water and sewerage tanks built into the modular unit, and second, that no alternate brands will be considered in place of Satellite Suites. Additional trailer specifications include a total weight of 12,500 lbs, (2) 7,000 lb. torsion axles, 16" aluminum wheels, and a 5-year warranty with 2 years of roadside assistance. The document provides precise technical requirements and confirms that only Satellite Suites branded trailers will be accepted for this specific procurement.
