About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Procurement Office for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. DOT-ITB-26-9026-JM, titled "Warn Bumpers and Winches". The bid is scheduled to open on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. The Q&A document addresses three specific vendor inquiries regarding the procurement, including clarification on bumper installation, additional lighting options, and winch cable specifications.

The document reveals that FDOT will handle the installation of the bumpers, and vendors should not include installation services. Regarding additional equipment, the department declined the option for four 3-inch cube fog lights that were designed to be integrated with the bumpers. For the winches, FDOT confirmed the preference for steel cable instead of synthetic rope. No specific pricing, funding details, or contract value are provided in this Q&A document, which appears to be a supplementary clarification document to assist potential bidders in understanding the precise requirements of the procurement.
