About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). FDOT intends to enter into a single source contract with The Will-Burt Company for the procurement of four (4) Pneumatic Mast Systems. These masts utilize pressurized air to raise and lower load packages, such as CCTV cameras, up to 50 feet in height for use on FDOT's Mobile Command Trailers during emergency operations. The masts must have a minimum payload capacity of 200 lbs. and a maximum nested height of 8.5 feet to ensure fitment and deployment. This solicitation will remain posted for a minimum of 15 business days.

The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is $85,242.00. FDOT has determined that The Will-Burt Company is the only known vendor able to meet the specific height and weight requirements without adding excessive weight to the trailers, which could impact the trailers' stability. The contract will be awarded to The Will-Burt Company as a single source acquisition.
