SCOPE OF SERVICES

ESRI ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT

software products when and where needed.

Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) leverages Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology for mission-critical systems that support open data, map production, analytics, data management, field data collection, and operational awareness. GIS enhances communication and engagement across many disciplines, including operations, planning, design, information technology, emergency management, administration, performance management and maintenance. FDOT has deployed a considerable amount of Esri’s GIS technology in the establishment of mission critical systems. GIS supports the Department’s emergency response activities within the Emergency Management Office, operation activities with the eMaintenance initiative within the Office of Maintenance, communication, awareness, collaboration, monitoring, and reporting activities with Safety Data Integration

Space within the State Safety Office, Special Edition Sourcebook and Mobility Data Integration Space within Forecasting and Trends Office, Traffic Engineering and Operations

Data Integration Space within Traffic Operations Office. However, there is still significant potential to apply GIS in many additional areas within the organization. This potential will continue to be realized through the advance of the System of Engagement (SoE), a core platform identified within the Transportation Technology Strategic Plan. All Esri software licenses and extensions are managed under the CIM-GIS Office’s Esri Customer Number through an Enterprise

Agreement (EA) that will expire on September 30, 2025. This purchase represents an extension of current agreement enabling the Department to advance the implementation of the Department’s GIS Strategy, the Transportation Technology Strategic Plan, and the Legislative

Cloud First initiative. In addition to accurately assess the GIS software needs across the agency, while planning the migration of District GIS infrastructure to the cloud environment, a step forward towards complying with the Governor’s First Cloud initiative, as well as, implementing new products and services aimed to reduce costs of the EA renewal for a third three-year term. Key EA features included are software maintenance, ArcGIS Enterprise and AGOL users, training, and

Cloud/OnPrim/Hybrid deployments of GIS, such as Asset Maintenance Inventories and

Inspections, Damage Assessments and Bridge Inspections. GIS Initiatives are contributing to support the advancement of all FDOT’s priorities: Safety, Workforce Development, Technology, Robust Supply Chain, Communities, and Resiliency, as well as, facilitate access and sharing of information for improving the decision-making process throughout the Agency. In addition, the extension of this agreement will enable the Department to meet current and near-future GIS Software needs across all business areas. Esri Enterprise

Agreement (EA) offers numerous benefits including: A lower cost per unit for licensed software.

Significant reduction on administrative and procurement expenses. Maintenance on all Esri software identified in the EA and deployed within the organization. Complete flexibility to deploy
