About this file
This solicitation is for a Plumas Stewardship Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC) to conduct roadside hazardous fuels treatments along roads impacted by recent wildfires on the Plumas National Forest in California. Under the authority of stewardship contracting, the solicitation will result in up to three awards to remove unmerchantable trees and slash along roads, with optional decking and removal of merchantable logs. Mandatory work must be completed by December 31, 2022, while optional product removal has a completion date of October 1, 2023. Interested parties must register in the System for Award Management and attend an optional site visit on September 14th or 20th, 2022 to view the project areas. The solicitation seeks to reduce wildfire risk and restore forest health through mechanical hazardous fuels removal services along roads in units impacted by the 2020 North Complex Fire and the 2021 Dixie and Beckwourth Fires.
