About this file

This document includes a federal contract solicitation for stewardship services on National Forest System lands. The Plumas Stewardship IRSC solicitation is seeking contractors to perform roadside hazardous fuels reduction treatments along roads impacted by recent wildfires within the Plumas National Forest in California. Services include mechanically removing unmerchantable trees and small diameter fuels from roadsides and landings for later burning or chipping off-site by the Forest Service. Optional items include decking and processing of merchantable logs for potential removal by the contractor. It is anticipated that up to three awards will be made from this solicitation to complete the mandatory roadside treatments by December 31, 2022, with optional log removal extended until October 1, 2023. Two pre-bid site visits will be held on September 14th and 20th, 2022 to review treatment units. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award.
