About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details dry ice block delivery requirements for the 89th Aerial Port Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The contract specifies weekly delivery of 4,000 lbs of dry ice in individually wrapped 50-lb blocks, to be delivered every Wednesday between 0730-1630 hours. The base year runs from 01 September 2025 to 30 August 2026, with four additional one-year option periods available.

Key contractor requirements include delivering dry ice blocks in containers that preserve product integrity, exchanging containers weekly, and complying with base security protocols. Performance thresholds are stringent, with 99% compliance for weekly deliveries, 98% for delivery timing and container exchanges, and 100% compliance for block weight/format and security access. Delivery personnel must obtain base passes, wear identification badges, and follow specific check-in procedures at the Pearl Harbor Gate, with potential remedies for non-performance including verbal warnings, re-delivery requirements, and access revocation.
