Questions and Answers 8/13/2019
1) I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract or task order number?
1A) DE-SC0016753
2) What are the sources of data? How can we get access to the appropriations-related documents and transcripts so that we can generate the alerts that you would like to receive? I assume we need to interface with at least one external system, or possibly multiple. Will you be able to provide us the link(s) and credentials for retrieving that information?
2A) Access to DOE data sources is not required. Alerts can be distributed by email with subscribers able to opt in/out of email alerts.
3) What information would you like to see in the Budget Tracker? Do you have any mock-ups or sample reports?
3A) Daily legislative tracking and news updates with real-time access to all appropriations-related documents and transcripts – critical to Office of Science during budget preparation, review and hearing cycles. Specialized same-day coverage of all authorization committees, including hearing transcripts, markups, and news. We are relying on the vendor to propose an approach to provide information. I do not believe it is appropriate to share copies of the reports generated through our current subscription service.
4) What tracking tools and information are you looking for in the Bill Tracker? Can you provide a sample or a mock-up?

5) Does the Member Profile information come from another system that we need to interface with, or will that information be created and maintained in this new system?
5A) The vendor should propose an interface to maintain member profile information, presumably through a login and access to your website/service.
6) How the user will customize newsletters and alerts?
6A) Vendor should propose a solution.
7) How the user will set personal interests on topics?
7A) Vendor should propose a solution.
8) Do you have any requirement on location of work?
8A) No.
9) What kind of legislative tracking you're looking for?
