Prospective Offerors, The government is providing responses to the following questions:

Question 1 Define what contracts are. When doing rent comparables, an appraiser usually has a specific building/structure we use to find comps. (called the subject) Please Clarify what is meant by Section 8 contracts. Is it based on specific buildings/complexes the house section 8 residents, a specific MSA, etc.?

Response Yes, the term contracts in section 5.1.1 refers to the property/complex subject to study.

Question 2 Should the pricing be based on specific MSAs? If so, how many per state and how many rent schedules per state? Most states vary in HUD pricing dramatically all over the state. (exp. Ga: HUD rents are very different between Atlanta, Macon, Augusta, Thomaston, Columbus, and other areas) Scope of research required for each of these areas varies dramatically in these areas. Thus, pricing will vary.

Question 3 What is the last date to submit questions?

Response The last day for questions was 5 days after release of the solicitation. (See Section

Question 6 Are the single-family/quads 1-4 units and small income properties (5-8 units) in the same format, the narrative format?

Response All assignments from HUD shall conform to the same format, as outlined in
