About this file

Bid Summary: Full Width Litter Pick Up Services

This is a Scope of Work document prepared by the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration for full width litter pick up services involving a 5-person crew at various locations within the Jessup Shop Area in Howard County, Maryland. The project encompasses litter removal operations along state highways and designated areas within the jurisdiction. The contract is designated as a Small Business Reserve opportunity, restricting bidding eligibility to qualified small businesses. Specific response deadlines, site visit requirements, and bidders' conference details should be referenced in the associated bid solicitation documents, as the scope outlines the work requirements rather than administrative timeline details.

Pricing terms and contract award information are to be determined through the formal bid solicitation process. The Small Business Reserve designation provides price evaluation preferences and eligibility restrictions favoring certified small business enterprises. Funding for this maintenance and operations contract is derived from the Maryland Department of Transportation's operating budget allocated for highway maintenance activities. Additional specifics regarding contract term, renewal options, performance requirements, equipment specifications, and safety protocols are detailed within the accompanying scope of work document and should be reviewed in conjunction with the full bid package.
