About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for a purchase of a Battery Charging System and Batteries for the U.S. Coast Guard Regional Dive Locker EAST. The SOW justifies the need for a second set of batteries and charging system to support two Strategic Robotics Systems (SRS) FUSION Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs). The Coast Guard intends to sole-source this procurement to Strategic Robotics Systems, as they are the sole creator of the required equipment. The SOW specifies the delivery location, coordination requirements, liability limitations, and invoicing instructions.
The related Federal Contract Opportunity is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the sole-source procurement of the SRS Battery Charging System and Batteries. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302 authority, as SRS is the only supplier that can meet the requirements. The delivery date is 31 AUG 2024, and the location is the U.S. Coast Guard Regional Dive Locker EAST in Portsmouth, VA. Responsible sources believing they can meet the requirements may submit capability statements by 07/17/2024 to the Purchasing Agent.
