About this file

This is a DLA Troop Support market research survey for military berets in various colors and styles. The agency plans two separate procurements: Procurement 1 will be a 60-month IDIQ contract with five 12-month price tiers, while Procurement 2 will be a Firm-Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract.

The survey seeks pricing and production capability information for 12 different beret types including Army, Air Force and JROTC variants in colors such as black, maroon, rifle green, tan and blue. Key quantities include a guaranteed minimum of 69,024 units and maximum of 1,210,736 units for Procurement 1, with an Annual Estimated Quantity of 175,728 units per tier. Procurement 2 has a maximum combined quantity of 87,201 units. Delivery locations are specified as LVI-Army 3PL in Pendergrass, GA and Travis Association for the Blind in Austin, TX. The Berry Amendment applies, requiring domestic production. Vendors must submit Product Demonstration Models with proposals within a 30-day solicitation period. Responses to this market research are due by March 11, 2025 to Sorina.Prian-Tanczos@dla.mil.
