The anticipated Period of Performance is Date of Award – 90 Days
The anticipated Place of Performance is DISA-PAC Ford Island, HI. Bldg. 77
DISCLAIMER:
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES:
1) DISA-PAC has procured its existing appliances using a GPC card over several years, adhering to micro-purchase limits and other governing rules related to the use of the GPC. Due to the performance issues with our current appliances, a complete refresh is required, and a piecemeal approach is unacceptable.
2) The Contractor shall procure, replace, and install new appliances with water connectivity where existing water lines are available, and remove old appliances throughout Ford Island DISA PAC Bldg. 77.
3) The contractor shall provide materials and services for the removal and replacement of existing appliances. This includes ensuring water line connectivity for applicable appliances where existing water lines are available and hauling away of old appliances. The contractor must ensure that the integrity of the existing wall structure, both interior and exterior, is not damaged during the process.
4) The Contractor will be required to have a security escort provided by DISA-PAC. Escort duty day are Monday through Friday, 0700-1500, to ensure the security of the facility. The anticipated time frame for delivery, installation, removal, and disposal of appliances is expected to be completed within 1 week.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: DISA-PAC is experiencing difficulty finding a vendor or contractor to perform the work via a contract vehicle. While the most cost-efficient option is purchasing from a big-box store on the island, we are constrained by GPC micro-purchase limits. We identified one vendor who can provide the goods and ship them to California, but they cannot ship to Hawaii and do not offer installation, removal, or disposal services. Additionally, we have been unable to find a local contractor to fulfill our requirements and have encountered issues completing our RFQ on GSA due to our destination being Hawaii.
