About this file

This is a Scope of Work document issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration for mechanical cleaning and sweeping services on roadways throughout Carroll, Frederick, and Howard Counties. The project involves routine street sweeping and cleaning operations at various designated locations within these three counties. The contract is designated as a Small Business Reserve (SBR) opportunity, restricting bidding to qualified small businesses. Specific response deadlines, site visit schedules, and bidders' meetings are outlined within the document to facilitate contractor familiarization with project requirements and locations. The contract term and any renewal options are established to provide continuity for the ongoing maintenance services required across the designated counties.

Pricing terms and payment structures are detailed within the document's cost proposal section, with compensation based on the scope and frequency of mechanical cleaning and sweeping services rendered. The SBR designation ensures that only certified small business enterprises may submit bids for this opportunity. Funding for this contract is provided through the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration's operational budget allocated for roadway maintenance and cleaning services. Additional details regarding performance standards, equipment specifications, and service frequency requirements are contained within the document to ensure contractor compliance with agency standards and specifications.
