The government anticipates awarding a competitive firm fixed price contract for equipment, training, delivery, and a two-year warranty period.

STATEMENT OF WORK

Automated Humidity Generator

1. Objective

Kennedy Space Center has a requirement for a Brand Name or equal product of one (1) Thunder Scientific Model 9500 (Series 9000) Automated Humidity Generator to replace the current existing Thunder Scientific Model 9000 that is end of life. This system will be utilized to calibrate KSC humidity devices across the center.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs Thunder Scientific Model 9500 (series) 9000 Automated Humidity Generator or equal.

• The equipment shall be capable of generating relative humidity, dew point, frost point, and parts per million water vapor multipoint profiles

• The equipment shall have uncertainty values no greater than 0.17% * target value + 0.016 target value.

• The equipment shall have a high flow capability of 10 to 150 L/min

• The equipment shall have computerized internal transducer calibration

• This standard must be traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology

(NIST) and generate humidity based on NIST’ proven "two-pressure" principle

• The contractor shall have National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program

(NVLAP) Accredited Certification of Calibration as per International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission

ISO/IEC 17025

3. Warranty

The Contractor shall provide standard manufacturer warranty for the equipment.

4. Training

The contractor shall provide a one-time two (2) day on-site training on the Thunder Scientific Model 9500 Humidity (or equivalent) calibration standard, review operations, maintenance procedures & calibration performance.

The contractor shall provide the Operational Software & Manual.

6. Period of Performance

The Period of Performance shall be 52 Weeks after receipt of award (ARO)
