About this file

This is a Statement of Work for repair services of test equipment required by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (NASA-GSFC).

NASA-GSFC requires repair of a Keysight/Agilent N5242A/SG4920152 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz PNA-X network analyzer that has failed to start when electrical power is connected and the start button is activated. The analyzer serves as critical test equipment in the Detector Systems and Observational Cosmology microwave laboratory for characterizing low-temperature microwave technologies under development. The vendor must perform technical evaluation and diagnosis of the startup failure and complete standard repair of the identified issue. Work is to be performed at vendor facilities, with completion required within 60 days from the date the vendor receives the network analyzer.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

NASA-GSFC requires repair of a Keysight/Agilent N5242A/ SG4920152 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz PNA-X network analyzer, where the analyzer’s computer/unit is no longer starting up with electrical power cable connected and the computer/PNA start button pushed. The system is a key piece of test equipment (on non-space flight hardware) used in a Detector Systems and Observational Cosmology microwave laboratory to characterize the performance of low temperature microwave technologies under development.

1. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

The vendor shall perform the following duties:

• Technical evaluation to diagnose the cause of the Keysight/Agilent N5242A/ SG4920152 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz PNA-X network computer’s failure to start.

• Standard repair of the diagnosed issue.

1. Place of Performance

Vendor facilities.

1. Period of Performance

The work is expected to be completed 60 days from the date that the vendor receives the network analyzer.
